pourtant j'ai été " assez" actif depuis 10 ans....

Mes mauvais timing et les "stupides" décisions de la compagnie sont pour moi un genre de " running gag" personnel .

Est-ce qu'avoir signé Janet est un bon move ?C'est sûrement meilleurs que de REsigner Marie Osmond 3 fois !....sans parler des no-names ...

NTRI a seulement 27 millions d'actions sur le marché...un rien pourrait envoyer ce stock dans la stratosphère....( voir de 2005 à 2008 )...

Chinese airlines will not pay a charge on carbon emissions imposed by the European Union from January 1, a national aviation industry group said Thursday.

"China, of course, will not cooperate with the European Union on the ETS (emissions trading scheme)," said Chai Haibo, deputy secretary-general of the China Air Transport Association, which represents the country's airlines.

He said the Chinese government was considering "counter-measures" against the European Union, but gave no details.

La pilule possède un mode d’action inédit. Il agit directement sur les mêmes récepteurs que la nicotine et se révèle ainsi capable d’inhiber la sensation de plaisir décrite par les fumeurs après la prise d’une cigarette augmentant ainsi le taux d’abstinence.

Deux études ont été menées sur 2 000 personnes désirant arrêter de fumer, un tiers d’entre elles bénéficiaient du nouveau médicament (1 mg deux fois par jour), un autre tiers du bupropion ou Zyban (150 mg deux fois par jour) et le dernier groupe un placebo (médicament inactif).

L’administration du médicament se fit pendant 12 semaines mais le suivi du patient dura une année complète de manière à pouvoir mesurer les taux d’abstinence de chacun. A la fin des 12 semaines de traitement, ce taux fut globalement très positif avec 44 % d’abstinence pour la varénicline, 29,5 % pour le bupropion et 17,7 % pour le placebo. Neuf mois après l’arrêt du traitement, ces écarts significatifs observés avec le bupropion tendent à diminuer avec 21,9 % d’abstinence pour la varénicline contre 16,1 % pour le bupropion.

Une autre étude a suivi deux groupes de patients traités avec Chantix l’un pendant 3 mois (+ 3 mois de placebo) à un groupe traité pendant six mois. Un an après le début de la prise en charge, l’abstinence tabagique était de 70,5 % chez les patients traités 6 mois, contre 49,6 % chez les patients traités 3 mois. En conclusion, un traitement plus long augmente les chances de succès.

Chantix est en vente en Europe depuis peu.....là où les fumeurs représentent 25%-35% de la population adulte.

C'est en tout cas un message bien brouillé que le caucus de l'Iowa a envoyé mardi au reste du pays, en mettant quasiment à égalité Romney et Santorum. Ce résultat en dit long sur la division d'un électorat perplexe et visiblement peu emballé par l'éventail des candidats républicains en lice.

Libya without Ghadafi, much like Iraq after the removal of Hussein, or Egypt with the digression of Mubarrak, will be much less stable. A power vacuum will cause Libya's already divided tribal nation to fragment into warring factions, set on competing for power and settling old scores.

Meanwhile, America, Russia, and China will jostle for influence in this oil-rich flashpoint. China had 30,000 workers in Libya (ChinaUSFocus) before the civil unrest began, and their eyes are squarely set on fulfilling their domestic energy demand. Russia has major influence in the region, and will not cede its interests to China and America easily.

This will create higher oil prices, greater volatility, and a higher risk premium built into costs of the commodity. Due to less reliable overseas oil supplies, America will look to further increase domestic exploration and production.

L'Inde a annoncé hier qu'elle allait ouvrir son marché financier aux investisseurs particuliers étrangers pour la première fois, dans le cadre d'une importante réforme économique destinée à encourager l'investissement étranger.

Cette mesure a été prise "pour élargir la palette des investisseurs, attirer davantage de fonds étrangers, réduire la volatilité du marché et renforcer le marché indien des capitaux", a expliqué le gouvernement dans un communiqué.

Elle entrera en vigueur d'ici au 15 janvier, a-t-il précisé.

Jusqu'à présent, les investisseurs étrangers n'étaient autorisés à investir en Bourse en Inde qu'à travers des sociétés d'investissement ou des programmes institutionnels.

American Apparel, has so far managed to avoid being delisted and so far managed to avoid a bankruptcy through a shaky history. Still, things have been sketchy here for so long that even a near-40% jump in shares from $0.57 to $0.75 since its early December business update showed improving store sales metrics. This company has managed to survive on less than $10 million in cash but still has a net tangible value of $56 million despite a loss in 2010 of $86 million. Here is the caveat” American Apparel has managed to exist in this diminished state for some time and its controversial CEO has managed to hang on. Maybe the company can pull a rabbit out of a hat and turnaround.

La Grèce a annoncé aujourd'hui avoir vendu quatre Airbus A340 usagés à une société de Miami spécialisée dans la vente d'avions d'occasion, Apollo Aviation, pour 40,4 millions de dollars pour s'assurer des liquidités.

Un communiqué du gouvernement indique que la vente a été approuvée par un comité ministériel de cinq membres chargé de la privatisation. Une source au ministère des Finances a donné le prix.

"Apollo Aviation Group a été le plus offrant", a précisé le gouvernement.

Les quatre appareils appartenaient précédemment à la flotte de Olympic Airlines, la compagnie aérienne d'Etat privatisée en 2009.

Peter Kolchinsky reported 7.32% passive stake in Endocyte According to a regulatory filing, now RA Capital Management has 2.62 million shares in the stock. RA Capital Management initiated its ECYT position during the third quarter and reported 393 thousand shares at the end of September, so its position is up 566% now. The filing also indicates that Peter Kolchinsky bought the shares on December 13th when ECYT dropped more than 60% within one day. The stock is currently trading at $3.42, losing 56% in 2011.

Kolchinsky is the co-founder and general partner of RA Capital Management. He graduated from Harvard with a Ph.D. in virology in 2001. After graduation he got $4 Million from Vertex Pharma co-founder Rich Aldrich and started picking biotech stocks at RA Capital. In 2002 he broke even when the S&P 500 index lost 22%. By the end of 2003, the initial $4 Million investment became $13 Million. Boston-based RA Capital invests in companies with promising drugs and technologies.

The 2012 lineup is shaping up nicely with clear blockbusters in "Men in Black 3," "The Amazing Spider-Man," "The Dark Knight Rises," and "The Hobbit." "The Dark Knight Rises" will likely lead all movies in box office revenue for the year and it is a positive sign to see as an investor that it will be on IMAX screens.

Along with the success of "Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol," Imax has had many positive events happening in December including:

• Signing of two theaters in Indonesia, first in the large country. One will be open by May 2012 and the other in 2013.
• Two more theater deals signed for China bringing the country’s theaters open or in backlog to 207
• Signed deals for over 200 total theaters in 2012.
• The release of "Flying Swords of Dragon Gate" released exclusively in China Imax theaters: Earned $2.5 million opening weekend on 59 Imax screens for an average of $42,400.

Even though the company has missed earnings three of the last four quarters, I think the $1.06 predicted for next fiscal year is extremely conservative.

SU Sears

The numbers do not add up. Sears Holdings has over 4,000 full-line and specialty stores. Same-store sales for the eight weeks which ended December 25 were down 5.2%. That figure represents a sharp acceleration of negative numbers from the earlier part of 2011. But, Sears Holdings only plans to close 100 to 120 Kmart and Sears Full-line stores.

Sears is in great enough trouble so that shuttering 3% of locations barely dents the problem. The Kmart and Sears store networks must have a larger portion of their outlets which underperform enough not to be profitable, or are only marginally so.

Sears problems are not new. If they were management could make the argument that it might turn the retailer around with only modest store cuts. But, Sears is now struggling to stay a viable company. A 3% cut in locations is not nearly enough.
