Cisco Systems Inc on Wednesday unveiled a video conferencing product aimed at the consumer market. "Cisco umi" (pronounced You-Me) connects to an existing HD television and a broadband internet connection to create a video conference.
It is scheduled to be available to consumers on Nov. 14 in Best Buy stores, bestbuy.com and umi.cisco.com for the suggested retail price of $599 with a monthly fee of $24.99 for unlimited ūmi calls, video messaging and video storage.
