Ma dernière journée de congé ( dans ma vraie vie ) a été le premier Janvier dernier...

La restauration c'est 7 jours semaine...dans ma situation.

Google To Buy ITA Software, Rule E-commerce Travel Business

Google Inc will try to dominate the online e-commerce travel market the way it has come to dominate cellphone operating systems with its Android product. In other words, it is impossible to tell whether its buy-out for ITA Software will ever bear fruit financially.
The price is $700 million.

ITA is an important provider of software specializing in organizing airline data, including flight times, availability and prices.Google said the acquisition of ITA Software will create a new, easier way for users to find better flight information online, which should encourage more users to make their flight purchases online.

Baidu Inc (NASDAQ: BIDU), the world's largest Chinese language search engine, plans to invest ¥5 billion ($1 = ¥6.8) in a browser project over the next three years, people close to the matter said Thursday. The company declined to comment. Industry watchers argue Baidu is likely to begin exploring this niche market with acquisitions.

The Baltic Dry Index, which tracks global shipping rates, has fallen for 24 consecutive days, its longest losing streak since August 2005. The BDI closed at 2,406 yesterday, its lowest point since last October.
As shipping rates fall, dry bulk shippers like Dryships Inc. (NASDAQ: DRYS), Genco Shipping & Trading Ltd. (NYSE: GNK), and Diana Shipping Inc. (NYSE: DSX) follow. All three shippers seem to be setting new 52-week lows every day. Two shippers more active in crude oil and refined products transportation are Frontline Ltd. (NYSE: FRO) and Teekay Corp. (NYSE: TK), both of which have seen share prices appreciate in the past year. The recently re-issued Claymore/Delta Global Shipping ETF (NYSE: SEA) is also trading near its 52-week low.

MON.nyse 52 week low

Le titre de Monsanto a continué sa dérape aujourd'hui pour finir à son bas de l'année. Malgré des revenus de 2,96 milliards de dollards pour le troisième trimestre, les analystes s'attendaient à 3,1 milliards..!!!!?

Le fabriquant du "round-up" et des semences modifiées est selon mon humble avis une

aubaine dans ce marché déprimé...

En juillet 2008 le stock était à 140$

Baidu to Hire Technicians from US

Baidu Inc (NASDAQ: BIDU) will try to hire 30 software engineers from the United States on Jul 10, human resources manager Zheng Bin told Reuters Tuesday. It will be its first job offers in the country. The world's largest Chinese language search engine, which racked up ¥4,450 million ($1 = ¥6.8) in revenue last year, is expected to snare half of Google's lost China share valued at an annual ¥2,000 million in total.

Warren Buffett likes Lloyd Blankfein. Now Goldman Sachs likes Berkshire Hathaway Inc. (NYSE: BRK-A, BRK-B). In new coverage this morning, Goldman Sachs has initiated Warren Buffett’s conglomerate with a BUY rating. The targets were put at $152,000 for the A-shares and $101.00 for the B-shares.

Tobacco companies are leading the consumer staples sector higher. Reynolds American gained 5.2%, Altria Group rose 3.5% and Lorillard gained 3.3% after the high court refused to revisit a case that found the tobacco industry violated federal racketeering laws by engaging in a decades-long scheme to deceive the public about the dangers of smoking.

Vendredi , il y a eu près de 29 millions d'actions qui ont changer de mains sur Coca-cola. C'est le plus gros volume depuis le 26 Février dernier...et le stock à perdu 3%. Est-ce une manipulation " short" de certains gros pour aller chercher les ordres stop et nous envoyer chier dans 3 mois ou bien c'est le début d'un sell-off généralisé sur le titre ?

Tandy Leather Factory, Inc a retailer and wholesale distributor of leather and related products, saw 10% owner Bandera Partners LLC purchase $809,320 worth of stock at prices between $3.90 and $4.50 per share on May 14, 2010. The purchases represented an 18% increase in their holdings of the company’s stock.
The purchase came shortly after the leather retailer reported a 36% jump in its net income for the first quarter of this year. The company attributed the results to 15% revenue growth in its leather craft division and 5% growth in its wholesale division, compared to the same quarter in 2009. Looking ahead, the company plans to continue growth while keeping expenses under control.

The new UK Prime Minister David Cameron told Canadian broadcaster CBC “It is … in all our long-term interests that there is some clarity, some finality, to all of this, so that we don’t at the same time see the destruction of a company that is important for all our interests.”
He raised the possibility that a number of investors have that the huge oil company could enter bankruptcy or be dissolved in some other way with its assets sold off to outside bidders.

Ford Motor (NYSE: F) stock is down over 23% during the last three months which is significantly more than Toyota Motor or Honda Motor . At first glance, the comparisons don’t make sense. Ford is arguably the best run of the three. It has some of the hottest selling cars, and its domestic Market share has grown consistently in 2010.

Pioneer Natural Resources Company (NYSE:PXD) today announced the Company signed a joint venture agreement with a wholly-owned U.S. subsidiary of Reliance Industries Limited . Under the agreement, Pioneer will sell a 45% interest in approximately 212,000 net acres leased by the Company in the highly prospective Eagle Ford Shale play for a total price of $1.15 billion. Reliance will pay $266 million in cash to Pioneer at closing and will pay an additional $879 million to carry Pioneer’s share of future drilling costs . Reliance will also participate with Pioneer in the development of midstream assets in the Eagle Ford Shale as a 49.9% partner.
