September 19 / 2011 – China's annual retail sales are expected to reach ¥30.9 trillion by 2015 and overtake the US in 2016, according to Huang Hai, former assistant commerce minister. Retail sales in the country rose 18.4% to ¥15.46 trillion in 2010.
