Good news or bad news ?
Millions of Chinese workers will lose their jobs next year as the ¥4 trillion ($1 = ¥6.8) government spending comes to an end and the nation's economic growth scales back to 7.5%, CICC (China International Capital Corporation) said Wednesday. The stimulus package has created 5.6 million long-term jobs and 50 million temporary jobs, CICC estimated, adding that 39 million people, including 7.6 million college graduates, are expected to enter the labor market in 2011, but only eight million jobs are likely to be offered.
