China Automotive Systems Inc (NASDAQ: CAAS) received orders from Chrysler to supply its global market. The manufacturer started supplying power steering parts to Chrysler in 2008, and its power steering gears were installed on Chrysler's jeep vehicles last year. The Wuhan-based company owns eight businesses in China and is capable of making 2.5 million items of power steering systems a year.
