Short interest on the NYSE rose 3,8% in the first half of February, to 14B shares - the highest since August, after the third straight biweekly increase.
Nasdaq short interest increased 4.8% in the first half of the month, with short positions increasing most for Cisco (CSCO), Oracle (ORCL), Huntington Bancshares (HBAN) and Sirius XM (SIRI).
