China imported 19.95 million tons of crude oil in February, up 7.8% year on year, China Customs confirmed with the Wall Street Journal.
China imported 19,651 tons of sugar in February, up 37% month on month and 220% year on year. Total sugars imports in the first two months were up 131% year on year to 34,018 tons.
China imported 158,185 tons of copper concentrate in February, down 36% month on month and 28.2% year on year. Total copper concentrate imports in the first two months were down 3.3% year on year to 403,802 tons.
Citibank plans to open three branches in Nanjing, Changsha and Wuxi this year, said Citibank China Retail Banking director.
Property sales in Shanghai plunged 26.7% year on year to 2.36 million m2 in January-February, where residential property sales were down 31.3% year on year to 1.95 million m2, said the local statistics bureau.
