Agricultural chemical and fertilizer stocks took off on Friday after the USDA pared its forecast for the domestic corn crop. The government said June flooding and hot, dry weather in August weighed on yields in the Midwest, and the expected corn crop is expected to be 12.664 billion bushels, down -3.8% from last month’s forecast.
