Les cotisations
Vous pourrez verser jusqu’à 5 000 $ par année (ce montant sera majoré en fonction de l’inflation).
Cette limite de 5 000 $ s’ajoute à votre plafond de cotisation au REER.
Les droits de cotisation inutilisés seront reportés indéfiniment.
Contrairement au REER, les cotisations au CELI ne seront pas déductibles du revenu imposable.
L’argent placé dans le CELI
Les revenus de placement gagnés dans le CELI ou les gains en capital ne seront pas imposables.
La plupart des placements pouvant être actuellement détenus dans un REER seront aussi admissibles au CELI, par exemple certains comptes d’épargne, les CPG, les fonds communs de placement, les actions et les obligations.
Les retraits
Vous pourrez retirer de l’argent de votre CELI en tout temps et à n’importe quelle fin.
Les retraits ne seront pas imposables.
Plus tard, vous pourrez verser de nouveau les montants de vos retraits dans votre CELI, sans réduire vos droits de cotisation.
Les autres caractéristiques
Le CELI ne modifiera pas vos droits aux prestations fédérales fondées sur le revenu, comme la Prestation fiscale canadienne pour enfants et le Supplément de revenu garanti.
Vous pourrez transférer l’actif détenu dans votre CELI à votre conjoint ou conjoint de fait à votre décès, sans incidence sur ses droits de cotisation actuels.

IMMUNE-MODULATING EFFECTS OF COLD-FXTRADEMARK SHOWN IN CLINICAL TRIAL:
CV Technologies Inc. has provided preliminary results suggesting that Cold-FX affects the human immune system by targeting the adaptive pathway, which is the immunity developed throughout life.

This result was obtained through a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial of the company's lead product and Canada's No. 1 selling cold and flu remedy, Cold-FX, demonstrating its immune-modulating effects in front-line health care workers at New Jersey's prestigious Hackensack University Medical Center (HUMC).
The study was led by HUMC infectious diseases researcher Dr. Steven Sperber and extended previously published clinical research showing that regular intake of Cold-FX over a single cold season enhanced natural killer (NK) and T-helper cells, which are part of the body's immune defence system.

Study participants were 50 healthy staff members from HUMC who were given either Cold-FX or a placebo. They consumed 1,800, 1,200 and 600 milligrams per day, respectively, on three consecutive days. Before and after each of the three days, blood samples were assessed for immune factors that are highly sensitive and therefore render a 50-person sample size statistically significant.

The results indicate that Cold-FX affects adaptive immunity, which is acquired through exposure to viruses and other infectious agents over time. Specifically, statistically significant results showed that T-helper lymphocytes -- which contribute to adaptive immunity -- rose after three days in the Cold-FX group but not in the placebo group.

Also of interest in the study was a statistically significant decrease in reported adverse events in the Cold-FX group compared with the placebo group. The implications of this are encouraging and consistent with some earlier scientific findings.

Microsoft's (MSFT) Internet Explorer has dominated the browser world for nearly a decade.
Recently the Firefox browser, a free product built and supported by the Mozilla Foundation has picked up, by some measures, a 20% . Google (GOOG) will enter the market and do what it can to crush Firefox and take what it can from Microsoft. The product, called Google Chrome, "is designed to make it easier and faster to browse the Web, by offering enhanced address-bar features and other elements that are very different from those on other browsers."
Since Internet Explorer comes loaded on the great majority of PCs, the Google product may not find it so easy to dislodge. Firefox, on the other hand, is in most cases downloaded from the Mozilla website. For Google Chrome to be successful, it would have to take another 15% to 20% of Microsoft's browser share, or take a much larger piece of the Firefox business.
Google's challenge will be to compete for the market of users who are willing to independently locate and download an Internet Explorer option.

DPC Midstream Partners (NYSE:DPM) is down 48% from its 52-week high, Buckeye GP Holdings (NYSE:BGH) is down 44%, Atlas Pipeline Partners (NYSE:APL) is down 32%, and Atlas Pipeline Holdings (NYSE:AHD) is down 30%. Even the two largest companies are lower -- Enterprise Products Partners is down 12% and Kinder Morgan (NYSE:KMP) is off 6%.

Il y a quelques mois j'ai écris ici que Jerry Yang n'avait pas toute sa tête pour avoir refusé une offre de 44 milliards de $$.....

Un bon ami à moi de disait justement que la décision n'était pas celle d'un seul homme mais bien du conseil d'administration. ok!

Et bien là le "conseil" semble vouloir vendre le 39% des parts que Yahoo possède dans Alibaba.com (HKSE: 1688.HK)......pour donner un dividende "spécial" aux actionaires de Yahoo qui sont rendus fou de rage .....pour calmer le jeux et faire baisser la pression. lol

It may be a bit late for that. Alibaba's stock is down 62% this year. The situation is another example of bumbling by Yahoo! management
