Sales of automobiles in China will grow 30% to 18 million units this year and the rate will slow to 10.5% in 2011, predicted American consultancy J.D. Power Asia Pacific. The rate for 2011 – the most pessimistic among all recent predictions – will be a result of Chinese government's cancellation of some incentives for buying cars on concerns over environmental degradation and overcapacity caused by unplanned expansion of the automotive industry, noted J.D. Power
