China is to reveal a scheme for the development of its alternative energy-powered vehicle sector by March 2010, said Wang Shulin, head of the automotive section of the National Development and Reform Commission .
Half, or 65 million, of the nation's cars should be powered by new energy by 2020, according to a recently issued circular by the NDRC and the Ministry of Science and Technology.
