Suntech Power (NYSE: STP) has become the first solar cell unit and module maker on earth with a capacity of 1 GW, chairman and CEO Shi Zhengrong said Wednesday. Its 8,000 m2 headquarters building in Wuxi, Jiangsu province has topped out, with a 1 million kw/h power generator attached. It can cut 600 tons of carbon dioxide emissions a year. Shi also revealed the company will install a 3 MW solar cell on the China building and 10 MW solar cell systems at the Shanghai World Expo in 2010.
Il y a eu un "trip" solaire en automne 2007 qui a été très payant. $$$
STP est un bon baromètre pour voir venir le prochain,je le regarde de coté de temps en temps.
