Piper Jaffray‘s Analyst Gene Munster today writes about the results of a survey he conducted of technology chiefs at U.S. K through 12 schools and their attitude toward Apple‘s iPad, which showed some ambitious plans for the tablet and little support for competing slates based on Google’s Android. “100% of respondents are testing or deploying iPads in their schools; no respondents indicated that they are testing or deploying Android tablets.
“Within the next 5 years, our respondents expect to have more tablets per student than they currently have computers.”
