60% of Shenzhen Netizens Shop Online

Almost 60% the netizens of Shenzhen, Guangdong province have done shopping online spending ¥213 per head per month, the city's association of online media has said. The number of Internet users in Shenzhen reached almost 5.5 million as of 31 May 2009, or 62.5% of its entire population. Half of the 5.5 million were under 30. More than 60% of the netizens subscribe to mobile Internet services and they pay a monthly ¥28 for it on average.
